#120: SKIN FOOD Pedicure Sparkle #09 + Nail Art

Ok, this Hello Kitty wasn't my idea. Someone posted a tutorial in youtube (cutepolish) and I couldn't resist to attempt this on my own. Hello Kitty on my thumb was a little not-so-perfect but who cares... I really had fun doing this~ Fun mani for a blue Monday. =)

#114: OPI DS Coronation

Chopped down my nails today. It's getting unmanageable for removing contact lenses and typing. I don't know how people can stand having nails that kept stuck in between the keyboards.


Anyway, I had on OPI DS Coronation today. I can't explain how gorgeous this silver holo looks. The holo effect is super amazing! If you're a collector, you should definitely get this.

#111: OPI Be A Dahlia Won't You, OPI I Lily Love You & SEPHORA Mirror, Mirror + BUNDLE MONSTER BM-212

This combo is crazy. I'm blinded by the sparkly effect of I Lily Love You. I was a little sad I couldn't get China Glaze Millennium so I tried using Sephora Mirror, Mirror which is a thick metallic silver polish as my stamping color on my accent nail. But it clearly didn't work. ChG Millennium is so rare and hard to find and even if you're able to find it on ebay, the price tag is EXORBITANT! I would rather splurge my hard earned money getting a Chanel nail polish than spending a fortune on this unreasonably high priced polish. End of rant~

#104: OPI Come To Poppy + KONAD M21

Come To Poppy is a very pretty coral pink with slight shimmer. Paired here with baby pink stamping polish and paint splatter stamp.

#102: OPI Grape...Set...Match & OPI Servin' Up Sparkle

This picture doesn't do much justice to this pretty reddish-purplish polish. I layered Servin' Up Sparkle on my index and ring finger. The small glitters spreads quite evenly but it was hard to control the hex glitters when putting on this polish, which is why there's more of it on my ring finger compare to the other finger. No top coat.

#100: CHINA GLAZE Traffic Jam + OPI I Lily Love You

To my eyes, China Glaze Traffic Jam looks like the flesh of a red dragon fruit (pitaya). I dig this red~ I don't see myself wearing this to work but I'll definitely be putting this on my weekend outings as it's really catchy and chic. I decided to give this combo a mix n match and it turns out to complements each other probably because of the sheer pink base in OPI I Lily Love You.

I don't know if it's just me or what but this smells like lemon scented dish washing liquid. Polish was really thin and shown here was 4 coats but still with visible nail line.

#85: ESSIE Blanc, OPI Color So Hot It Berns & CHINA GLAZE First Mate + BUNDLE MONSTER BM14 & BUNDLE MONSTER BM-224

Attempted a national day nail art. Started with Essie Blanc then free handed OPI Color So Hot it Berns in alternate stripes. On accent nail was China Glaze First Mate stamped with a star and a crescent representing the national flag. Don't you just love holidays? I do~ =)

#72: COLOR CLUB Yum Gum + OPI White Shatter

Just received these polishes in the mail today. Love the bubble gum pink but the scent in the polish is a tad funny. Too strong for my liking. Hubby says it smells yucky. :P But I don't care cause I think it's uber girlish. Hehe...

My first attempt at gradient nails. Not too shabby but could have been better with the sponging. Stamped the twin butterflies pattern on my accent nail cause it looks a little "naked" after I've finished.

Sorry you had to see Essence polishes coming up in the next few posts as I'm really excited about trying this brand. =) Tried to french it with a darker green and it looks quite dull. So I added dots along the french to come up with this really simple mani.

#58: OPI Sparrow Me The Drama & Essence Purple Diamond + Konad M78

Purchased a few bottles of Essence polishes at a local store name CociCoci at Midvalley MegaMall today. Used the Essence Purple Diamond as a stamping polish for this animal (zebra/tiger with leopard) prints. It works great as a stamping polish. No bluff about the reviews on the internet. Happy with my purchase~ Will try more polishes from this brand since it's available locally now.

Here we have Sparrow Me The Drama which is a pink+lilac color taken in bright morning sun. Very girlish~ Me likey. =) Oh and by the way, I've chopped down my nail to this length. Will take me a few days getting used to it.
