#123: SEPHORA Stormy Pink & CHINA GLAZE Admire + KONAD M63

It's FRIDAY again! Shown here is another mani for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Enjoy your weekends~

I felt so sad that I accidentally broke my middle fingernail due to the car door and I had to chop down the remaining to nubs. I'm not ready to show my nubs cause I still think it's hideous, but hubby says it looks okay. It's all his fault. :( Anyway, I shall refrain from posting until I have achieve a nice length again.

Added on 04/12/2011: Thanks for visiting! Something special has happened in my life and it has taken up much of my time. I do not know for sure how long I'll be away from blogging this time. Anyway, thank you so much for your support! =)

#122: SALLY HANSEN Espresso + KONAD M38

Happy Wednesday! It's mid week again. Shown here is Sally Hansen Espresso with some yellow ribbon. Picture was taken several days ago and I've forgotten to take a photo of it. Sorry for the bad lighting. Pestering my hubby to DIY me a light box. Hopefully he'll agree to it.

Don't wait till you're old to wear brown family color. It's classic to wear this when you're young, gals! =)

#121: Elianto Turquoise & ESSENCE Perfectly True + KONAD M79

I ran out of my Konad White Stamping Polish. Had to get another one soon. Not much to say today except that Elianto Turquoise is a very close Tiffany shade, well maybe a tad darker. The clouds signify my mood for today. It's cloudy almost everyday at the same hour. So predictable~ And I hate the after work traffic jam. Argh!!!

#120: SKIN FOOD Pedicure Sparkle #09 + Nail Art

Ok, this Hello Kitty wasn't my idea. Someone posted a tutorial in youtube (cutepolish) and I couldn't resist to attempt this on my own. Hello Kitty on my thumb was a little not-so-perfect but who cares... I really had fun doing this~ Fun mani for a blue Monday. =)

#113: CHINA GLAZE Pelican Gray & JORDANA Lavender Foil + KONAD M76

China Glaze Pelican Gray was a little plain on its own. To amp up the look I sponged on Jordana Lavender Foil up to 2/3 of nail and then stamped on a simple pattern on the corners. Love this mani!

#107: CHINA GLAZE Trendsetter & ELIANTO Lime Green + BUNDLE MONSTER BM02

Featured here are 2 coats of China Glaze Trendsetter followed by some sponging of Elianto Lime Green. The lollipop stamp was done with Konad White polish and glitters are fished out from a few different shades of Bisque glitter polishes. Does this look too Over The Top (OTT)? Jam packed like there's so much going on in there. LOL~

I'm super busy at work these days. And it's sucking my energy, I felt tired and lethargic. Guess I'll have to stick to daily post on weekdays and have some rest on weekends...

#105: ESSENCE Choose Me! & CHINA GLAZE 2030 + KONAD M38

Essence Choose Me is a stunning blue-green with gold microglitters and when top with Seche makes this glass fleck beauty even more amazing. Stamping done with China Glaze 2030 with a simple flower pattern on nail tips. The nail blogosphere says it's a dupe for Zoya Charla but I really don't know how true cause I can't compare.

#103: COLOR CLUB Wicked Sweet & CHINA GLAZE Skyscraper + KONAD M61

In my opinion, this bluish silver glitter polish is even better than the China Glaze Dorothy Who I bought a while back. That bottle I got could be a defect bottle as it was really runny and thin. It looks to me like it has been diluted with thinner. Gah~ Hate it!

This polish was so pretty, I was too "stingy" to use another coat of it. Which explains why I'm layering it over another 3 coats of Color Club Wicked Sweet. =P Should have added a rhinestone for that extra bling effect.

I'll be putting this on again on its own for my next holiday in November. Till then...

#101: ZOYA Minka, CHINA GLAZE CG In The City & ESSENCE Copper Rulez + KONAD M66

Subtle and conservative french tips should be an ideal work appropriate mani. After done painting the tips, I move on to top the smile line with China Glaze CG In The City using a brush and then stamped the bamboo pattern from Konad M66 to my thumb and middle finger. Finish everything with a glossy top coat and you're good to go. =)

#99: ZOYA Shay & CHINA GLAZE Traffic Jam + KONAD M73

Zoya Shay is gorgeous and applies like butter. Can be opaque with one coat if you apply your polish thicker. It's very appropriate for office and not too catchy. Shown here is stamped with the full plate of tiny flower pattern from Konad M73. Excuse the sorry state of my cuticles and a little bit of tip wear as I forgot to take a photo right after I've finished and only took it a few days later.

#93: SKIN FOOD Pedicure Sparkle #09 + KONAD M6

Bought this Skin Food polish a few days ago and it's so sparkly and gorgeous. Opted for french tips instead of full nail cause I didn't want my nails to look too garish, scaring my colleagues and clients away.

#90: RIMMEL Pink Punch + KONAD M79, M56 & Nail Art

Okay I know I'm a little obsessed but I really adore this barbie pink. Which explains why I'm revisiting it again but it's for my mani today. So to amp up the look I added lace stickers, rhinestone, hello kitty sticker plus some konad-ing and it turns out like so. A little random cause there's no prior planning. It's my first time using water nail decal so please excuse the visible sticker as I wasn't aware it'll show up so clearly in pictures.

#89: COLOR CLUB I Always Get My Man-darin + Star Fruit Fimo & Nail Art

Fruity nails for today. The mandarin and star fruit combination actually gives me the urge to grab a bottle of fruit juice. =) Pardon the slight nick on my middle finger - the results of hasty clean ups.

#87: RIMMEL Pink Punch + KONAD M79

I've found one bright pink that screams Barbie finally~ *Yay* Excuse the excitement but I have quite a few pinks and couldn't find one that looks the same as this jelly-like Barbie pink polish. As usual, I couldn't leave it 'naked' without any stamping and I settled for something simple as I always do. The toe was stamped with polka dots pattern from Konad M79 using Konad blue special polish and the end results is this vintage retro 70s look~

#85: ESSIE Blanc, OPI Color So Hot It Berns & CHINA GLAZE First Mate + BUNDLE MONSTER BM14 & BUNDLE MONSTER BM-224

Attempted a national day nail art. Started with Essie Blanc then free handed OPI Color So Hot it Berns in alternate stripes. On accent nail was China Glaze First Mate stamped with a star and a crescent representing the national flag. Don't you just love holidays? I do~ =)

#83: ESSENCE Copper Rulez + KONAD M57

I was so frustrated that I couldn't paint my finger nails so I painted my toe nails instead. I don't think I have a polish that looks like Essence Copper Rulez in my humble stash and I never knew that metallic polished would look so good on my toe nails. The flowers stamped on my toe from Konad M57 looks like jasmine after I filled the centre with yellow polish. Love this~

#82: ESSENCE You Belong To Me, COLOR CLUB Wicked Sweet & ESSENCE Choose Me! + KONAD M3

The base was 1 coat of Essence You Belong To Me and then I sponge 1 layer of Color Club Wicked Sweet to the middle section and lastly sponge on 2 layers of Essence Choose Me for the extra glitters. Oh and the stamping color was actually purple but I didn't know why my camera captured it as blue. Hope you like this mani~ I'll be back after my short break. =)

#80: INGLOT 302, ELIANTO Flaming Pink & COLOR CLUB Wink, Wink, Twinkle + BUNDLE MONSTER BM-224

Had on Inglot 302 for a day but I did not post up the photo as I really dislike seeing VNL (Visible Nail Line) these days. It was my first Inglot polish but I see myself purchasing more since the outlet is here in the city. Inglot 302 was really pretty when swatch on the nail wheel but it didn't turned out as I've expected though dry time and application wise was pretty decent.

So like I mentioned, my base is Inglot 302 and I sponge on Elianto Flaming Pink to about 2/3 of my nail then sponge again with Color Club Wink, Wink, Twinkle on the tips and ended up with these. It was spontaneous because I didn't actually have a plan or idea in mind beforehand. I think it's really pretty. Hope you like this. =)

#79: RIMMEL Blue My Mind & CHINA GLAZE Sci-Fi + KONAD M76

I see this as blue but hubby says this is purple. I don't really know how to describe but it does look blue indoors. This was 3 coats. China Glaze Sci-Fi makes it look extra sparkly in the sun. Was out to the amusement park and got a few compliments on this nail art. Happy to know that someone appreciates my hobby cause there's not much hype here, where I live. I seldom see girls sporting bright and loud nails.
